Ralph & Lib Brett Memorial Fund

Ralph Brett was the Principal of Athens Elementary from 1973-1991. His wife, Lib, taught at Athens High School for 20 years before she left to teach at Calhoun Community College. Ralph and Lib loved the Athens City School system and believed in the potential held within every student. Following Ralph's death in 2010 and Lib's in 2015, their family and friends established the Ralph and Lib Brett Memorial Fund to support financial needs faced by students. Support can range from paying field trip fees or buying school supplies to paying to keep a family's utilities on for a month until additional resources can be secured.
