The Jackie Greenhaw Foundation Room is located in Athens High and displays memorabilia from Athens City Schools. The room was named in honor of Jackie Greenhaw in 2017. Jackie, a 1961 graduate of Athens High School and the creator of the Athens City Schools Foundation, had a passion for collecting artifacts reflecting the history of the schools. This room will allow his vision to become a reality. Alumni visit the room and reminisce about their time in the Athens City Schools. In addition, the room will be available for reunion groups to use for planning and small gatherings.
Donations will be used toward the purchase of display cases, frames, and other materials needed to display and preserve the memorabilia.
