-
The ACSF Teacher Grant program is made possible through the resources of the Athens City Schools Foundation, a non-profit corporation, with activities guided by the ACSF Board of Directors, comprised of members of the business community, educators, and other community leaders. The mission of the Athens City Schools Foundation is to serve as an advocate in mobilizing community support for resources to enhance learning opportunities for students in the Athens City School District and to support teachers with initiatives that supplement the basic revenues of the school system. ACSF Teacher grants are designed to reward the creative initiative of teachers and to invest private-sector monies in classroom projects that increase opportunities.
